Have anyone gone for any confidence building course?
I have never attend one before in my life, so what is confidence? It is the belief in oneself and one's powers or abilities; self-confidence; self-reliance; assurance.

24/04/2008: The day to remember for many years to come. I went for my first solo in this jet aircraft in my basic wing course. 0.3 hour is short but to me, it was memorable and meaningful.
Solo check flight went pretty well except for some minor hiccups. 25 minutes before the flight, i did my paperwork, gear up properly and sign out my aircraft, Tail 348.

It was the first time i walk alone to my aircraft, assuming the responsibility of an aircraft captain. Briskly, i did all my walk around checks, buckled in and proceed to start the engine. Shortly after, i was taxying back to the holding point, all ready to roll down the runway.
"GINGIN TOWER, EAGLE 714, READY".
"CLEAR FOR TAKEOFF, EAGLE 714".

With the advance of the throttle, it was short before i took off the ground. It felt empty to fly alone but nonetheless, that is exactly what i been waiting for since 3 months ago i reached here. My landing wasn't that ace but considered safe. This is what i call Confidence-Building and indeed i felt more confident than i used to be. It was unbelievable effective.

Other than my first solo, everything that has been happening around me and my coursemates was not very pleasant. I hate to believe that people change and change to the extent of being hideous. Once we used to be friends, and now we are like strangers to each other. I am going to accept this is gonna be hard fact. This trip to Australia has been an eye-opener, i have gained some, lost some. Another 6 months to go, it will only get tougher but it will only make me stronger.

I feel proud to be still standing strong despite all the surrounding critics. I guess nobody expect me to reach this stage but they will be proved wrong. Adios mates.

*Swipe off the dust on my blog*
Rise from the dead. Been 6 months since i last update my blog. It wasn't my intention to abandon my own blog. But these 6 months has been like a whirlwind to me.

In a flash, i am now 3 months into my stint in this "birds don't lay eggs" place. Flying was the most enjoyable thing regardless of all the shit i have to dig myself through before i can arrive this far. This trip here also taught me alot of lifelong lessons, inter-relationship management etc. Not only, it let me realise how selfish humans can get in order to achieve their own interest. But it did not dampen my spirit though, there is little i can change people but i have to take note of myself.

Ups and downs in this place. Seen my AGC mate departing to Singapore was the hardest thing to accept, considering that we have been walking hand-in-hand for the past 1 year to arrive at this stage. But when the going get tough, the tough get going, inevidently, the weaker ones will get sacrificed. It was tough scrapping through my initial sorties until just prior to my progress check test, i got the enlightenment from a Senior Instructor and managed to pass my Prog Check. Since then, i decided not to look back.

GH 10, GH 11, GH 12, OFT 7 and going strong. First Solo in 7 sorties. For once, i am going to take a jet up into the skies for that short 0.3 hour and enjoy the spur of my life. Bless me my friends. I will do you guys proud. Whroooohaa.

Bad news bad news.
I cannot believe it, just like 2 months before the end of ground school, disaster struck. Due to some unforeseen circumstance, i got myself a fracture. Initially, i thought it was just a simple hairline fracture as described by the MO but my worst fear was confirmed by the specialist from CGH that it was a full blown fracture on the scalphoid bone.

Nevertheless, i will fight to finish my ground school and hopefully i can leave on the mayday 26th Dec. It was rather disappointing or applauding to see that when u have an injury and you are down, nobody is being encouraging and supportive to see my through this difficult times. Only missy dearest is always there by me. Whenever i feed low during this tough times or when the tough gets going, she is always constanting remind me that she is always by my side. I be strong and hard just for u.

Missy dearest 20th birthday is coming and she is already anticipating a National Standown during her birthday*giggles*. To dearest, " if this year i didn't live u to your expectation for your celebration, i hope u forgive me and i promise a better one on the 21st. Times flies and it is going to be a big one year of missy-mr relationship. I can feel that the relationship is getting more stable and strong. I love u , missy,

Destiny will decide for my fate. Just can't wait to prove everybody wrong about myself. Back to studies, back to more mayhem, back to more sleepless nights.

Life is full of UPs and DOWNS.
With mixed emotions, i started my much anticipated ground school that i have always look forward to. It was the stay-in coupled with a few long weeks stretching to saturday that put me off my pace. It is already 2 weeks into my course and i sort of used to the programs planned for us. Supposingly, it was a 14 weeks course but due to early departure, it was compacted into 12 weeks.
Guess what, AVIONICS, FLIGHT INSTRUMENTS, NAVIGATION, METEOROLOGY, AERODYNAMICS, AIRMANSHIP will accompany me through days and nights.

Missy was prepared but reluctant to accept that i have to stay in again. It means there is no more late nights out and frequently gag gags. Nevertheless, she shows that she is always there for me and remained very cool about the situation.

I was actually planning to plot a very long entry but i felt that it was rather lengthy to stretch all the way back for one month.

It was rather sickening to see fellow pilot trainees that does not show the same passion for this career, just hoping to stall enough time for ORD. It has even gone further to force another guy to scramble to leave for a 9month course in less than 2 days. What is the reason? He claimed he got depression. Old sky got eyes, he got suspended and that is the end of him.

To Missy:
Less time != less communication.
Less days != less love.
To Marilyn, maybe he need his bf around his side every moment but i believe we are completely different from theirs.

So disappointed on myself. Clocked a personal worst of 2 hr 30mins for AHM 2007 this year. Guess the downward curve is just going to get deep and deeper. Please don't call me Best PT anymore. (Although i did managed to get Best PT in BMT and BSLC) But tough times don't last, tough man do. It's not the end and it is just the beginning of something wonderful.

Next event upcoming:

Anyone interested in joining me? I do need some quality pacing and inspiration man. My asics running shoes is getting worn out, any kind taitais can "provide" me with a new pair?

Some stuff to update. I have been lobo-ing for the past 6 months although it is not entirely doing nothing useful. But it is just keep our time occupied and sidetracking to projects and presentation skills. And the good and bad news is my BWC ground school is gonna start on 24 Sep. Stay-in and hectic lifestyle is always not the way to go man, less time to spend with friends and girlfriend, but the faster i finished off my ground school, the fast i be going over to Aussie for training. I believed in getting to the reckoning day earlier and not wasting anymore of my time.

Quarrels and bickering is part of relationship and for me it just to correct the mindset of missy and me. Finally, we are over another row means another plus plus to the understanding. Missy having her exams soon in 2 days and she has been mugging like a SCB for like the past week. And there is this guy that is a coordinator to recruit her a Mediacorp PA job bugging every single day and for godsake, missy decided to forgo the opportunity.

Just sold off my Nokia N80 for a E61 which is a non-camera phone as N80 is simply too troublesome to use in a highly confidential camp. Thus there is not much photos to uploaded.

Oops, haven't been updating my blog but this time i do have alot to add.
What i have found out about myself:

Does not have any luck in gambling.
Bad tempered yet controllable at times.
Have very bad time management
Hate stingy people yet admire spendthrift ones.
I am always tired.
Love my dearest alot.

Went to genting during 15th to 17th August with my pilot trainee friends. This might be the last chance we get to apply for a week block leave after MF takes over OC *freakz*.

We took 5star luxurious bus which took around 6 1/2 hrs before reaching the peak. Most of them did not really seems interested in going casino but it was until the first day dinner that we know that we have just donated 1600RM to the consortium of genting. Sad but true, gambling means either win or lose so the probability is 50% yet kuangyong experienced a 8-straight-losing bet streak.

Though i have been to Genting quite a number of times, this is the only time i realised there is a club in this place named SAFARI. Music was relatively bad, drinks averagely priced but still the whole cohort enjoyed our time in the club. It was until 3am that we actaully left because it was closing. Some of our guys did not have past experiences in clubbing thus this is one hell of a lifetime to them *hiak hiak hippo cough cough*. Kam was at his personal drinking best and aaron too was at his peak of chee honging.

This trip i decided to go test out my luck at the casino since most people always say there is beginners' luck but apparently i did not have it. I lost 2 bets straight in a row. I be coming back here maybe soon, cheap and fun.

Sad but not really surprising. A couple in our group broke up. It was not a very amiable one but hopefully the saga has ended. Now with HER we don't have HE and definately i don't want a HE until he wake up from his slumber. HE to me is a pretty happy-go-lucky person but after assuming the role as a boyfriend, he became another person totally. Jiemin, if u are reading this, i sincerely hope that u don't go harress her anymore. Everything's over, no use getting regretting and she is not coming back to you anymore. She is definately better without you so JERK OFF, my friend.

Kinda been busy these few days so u guys dun blame me for not updating my blog. Been sorting my relationship (nothing bad, just misunderstanding) and my life in the crappo, screwed up place (just need to realign my mindset). My life ain't that exciting than u guys who are wearing civilian clothes walking along the crowded streets.

How many of u guys know why are u paying so much tax? Slowly i know why u guys and I am..Who knows that our armed forces expenditure occupied the country 5.04% of GDP. U know why our armed forces need to spend so much money on the defense budget? The reason is because most regulars that work in the military does not treat this as a profession. Incapable people are also recruited for the specific vocations and thus a job that required just one person now required more than 1 to accomplish.

Do u guys know what is arrow-ing? I know it is not a correct english word to use but it's the closest i can find to describe the contagious culture in this profession. The "self-fish" culture is breeding in this field and the way the profession is being structured does not help at all.

Anyone heard before that the most successful industry let their employees adopted a result-oriented and efficiency way of working. Addition to that, employees that worked hard are automatically recognized for their contribution through commission/benefits/promotions. Etc. a person working in a sale line are judged by their monthly sales record/ commission received and the record automatically show how hard a person work.

I believed most people have watched Jack Neo film a few months ago starring Fann Wong/ Gurmit Singh. The working environment is no difference from the one epic in the show( BCC/CC = arrow-ing). Here arrrow-ing it displayed in a more nicer method which i call it delegating. Help is normally rendered after some pressure is put so in another way, so if u are the self-less one, u will get slayed like a headless chicken. In another, just mind your own business.

Seriously, they cannot blame anyone for leaving the force prematurely or even not renewing their contracts because the ones that left either felt under-utilized for their talents or either they have earned enough to have a headstart in their puny life.

I hate drills, i hate regimentation, i hate wa-yanging, i basically hate everything they can provide for me except the chance to soar the skies. Welcome to more ranting. I love and hate my life.

Hi the world. I am still alive and kicking.
Missy been complaining i been neglecting my blog and indeed i am . = )
In case, the world doesn't know, i have just returned from my self-planned, self-executed, self-messedup Taiwan trip. It lasted from 24th to 30th June.

It was great trip, we have the happy moments and the sad ones but definately i will miss this place. I will be eager to come here again.
Someone once said to me, a trip will make or break a relationship. I believe this trip has just make mine stronger and even more impregnable. I love you missy.

Yesterday is the PA Paddles Competition @ Bedok Reservoir. I was supposed to row on the behalf of Bedok Reservoir - Punggol CSC as the CSC sponsors our MENS team for training. The strange thing happened this morning. I was supposed to reach Paddles Inc by 9AM thus the logical timing to wake up was supposed to be ard 7.45 to 8AM. Missy Wormie gave me a morning call at around 7.45AM although i was already half awake when my stupid alarm clock rang at 7.30AM.

So the usual healthy habit continued, i will Lai Chuang for a while. 8AM i still cannot summoned any energy to wake up so i went back to sleep for another 15minutes. It was so real that i cannot even imagine that a dream can be that real.
"I found myself to already at Bedok Reservoir Car Park, the car park was full and definately no parking space for my Vios. I still cannot believe that i was already at the venue thus is circled my car around the car park." It was then i woke up in cold sweat that i seldom dream of something so close to life.

So i rushed to Bedok Reservoir after that, it was a sense of DejaVu when the same scenario happened right in front of my eyes.... carpark is full, alot of people in jerseys and officials directing the traffic. But heck it, i proceeded to Temasek Poly to park my vehicle. End of the day results, both 10 and 20 men crew race went into Sunday's Grand Finals. This was a good and bad news for me as i have already signed up an investing course on Sunday and definitely can't make it in time for the race.

Today i went for my investing course, the course was held by this very smart and youthful looking guy. I was quite taken back when he mentioned he started investing right before he was 17 years old. I guess i was too late in this context then. Everything went on well and i was very interested for the rest of the course thus paid $50/- deposit for the $108/- course fee as Chion went along.

I was thinking it was time to think of the future as it is best to start to do some financial planning for myself. Majority of the Singaporeans do not have enough savings including CPF to last through their retirement age. Ming, the course instructor, mentioned that if we do not get ourself prepared to start planning financially, it is likely we be sucked right into the "rat race". He means that to earn enough for our car, shelter and stuffs, rather than being already prepared to pay for this commodities. I felt that i have just started my adulthoodship.

Do u guys hate stingy?
How do u define someone as stingy? I guess we do need examples to illustrate it

Do u guys love buffet, esp. dim sum buffet? Someone is tat stingy to the extend of not eating and ordering more after reading that wastages of food will be charged. He even go to the extreme of forcing the diners on the same table to not order. (Freaking retarded, i paid $35/- for a buffet and i didn't even get myself full).
I called the transport to Malaysia as i got the contacts. Due to the awkward pax, we have to settle for 2 x Vans when we only have 15 guys, thus this increase the transport cost. It was already agreed upon with everybody before i confirmed with the uncle. This retarded claimed that it was too expensive and even try to physco another guy to agree with his thinking. (Hey dood, oops retarded, next time to go to geylang, do finish your "business" and bargain the price. Fcking cheapo.)
We went for seafood at Johore after our activity. On a table of SEVEN, we started to order our food. It was only i heard, " Don't order so much lehz, cannot finish" that i know the existence of the retard on my table and at the point we only ordered 4 dishes. In the end, Carmen has to settled for SMALL for every dishes. I wasn't even full. ( A hungry man is an angry man, i am very angry but not insane.)
Buy laptop, want xp want good processor want good graphic want a lot of ram want to get the cheapest one. Keep annoying us with WINDOWS XP > VISTA theory. In the end, bought a vista laptop and that laptop wasn't even value-for-money IMO.l ( Want-cheap-want-fresh-want-bigboobs thinking.)

This is just the examples i can list out at one go and these only direct at one very annoying person i been working with the pass weeks. I hate stingy and cheapo people especially those that are rich yet act like they are penniless.

Today was our course outing to Johore but the main attraction we be visiting is this track named PERMAS GO-KART track. Obviously, u guys will related it to the Downtown East ESCAPE THEMEPARK Go-Kart but it is entirely difficult. Only those that went to Permas this afternoon can differentiate the Man from the boys.

At 80cc, 390cc 4-stroke, 125cc 2-stroke, these karts are not normal go-kart that u played at any theme park. When these karts go at their full throttle, it can easily get to 80km/h. After trying the 80cc ones for 2 runs, we decided to up our standard to the 390cc 4-stroke. "Whoa", it is a hidden beast beneath a small frame. Just a simple floor on the accelerator can get me a G-lock. The only interesting thing about this kart is during the last lap, while chasing the front pack, i drifted through a corner and the next thing, i found myself beside a collapsed crash barrier. Luckily, i survived.

I really have a craved for speed now. When can i get my own IntegraR?

ROAD BULLIES AND BAD DRIVERS.
There are the most common "shit" i have seen on the road ever since i get my driving license 2 years ago. Seldom do i complain about these group of badass that seems to occupy more than 1/4 of the driving population.

I was just "lucky" to meet one myself today. After sending missy home, i was driving along CTE towards Ang Mo Kio Ave 3 Exit. My trusty Vios was moving at 100km/h along the 1st lane. Out of a sudden, my focus was diverted to this vehicle behind me. It was so close to my rear that i can only see the flare of its headlight. It was not long until he high-beamed me signifying the obvious intent, letting him have the lane.
Just too bad, he didn't chose the correct driver to bully. I wait for the chance where he closed me up and i tapped and pressed on my brakes. I guess i scared him off as he backed off quite a distance. But it was not long he get on my tail again.
He decided to over take me, just cutting me by the left ahead of me. STUPID or just EGOISTIC. So much effort to overtake me and to save like 1-2 seconds?
By then, i filtered to exit the expressway.

This incident isn't the first time i met on the road. But this time it was just plain funny and stupid. This Nissan Sunny SFQ 8204 R has overestimated its car. Simply retarded. Anyway, life isn't that exciting on the road without retarded drivers like them.

It has been a while i really update about myself.
I been planning a taiwan trip during my block leave on the June. For myself, it will be the first time i go to taiwan but for missy, it will be a visit to his dad who is working there.

Recently, i got this problem. Maybe it is just me, i feel some ladies are especially moody. They seems to suffer from this mood swings that completely opposed their character. And missy recently seems to be quite moody, i can understand as she need to deal with her studies, part-time work and obviously his obnoxious brother that has this ridiculous thinking that women should be housewives.

I am not a very cool-headed person in terms of my temper, but for missy, i have changed alot. But it was rather difficult for me to take her temper. Sometimes, i really feel like i am going to explode if this keeps going on.

Enough of complaining again. Last saturday, it was like the first time i went blading for in 6 months. I was ecstatic to see my blading buddy after a long while. Seriously, i enjoyed blading down the paths of East Coast Park, letting the head wind blow through my hair. Really looking forward to the next session.

That's all for today. Dearest, i know you will be reading this but i hoped you will not be angry for what i have written. It is just a way to vent my own frustration.

Alot of stuffs to report after not blogging for 2 weeks. It isn't much of no time to blog or rather lazy to use the minimal time to blog. Something quite significant to me that i want to say today. Heard from dearest that some guys call me " Ah bwang bwang" and commented why i so bwang still can find her as my girlfriend.

Since i am taught to accessed every situation i met with. Let see:
1. They are just plain jealous or can't face the truth.
2. Some people just enjoy criticising other rather than looking themselves in the mirror. (Yeah yeah, it isn't a crime to be fat, it's criminal to eat excessively, thinking u are as slim as a pole.)
3. Maybe it's best not to comment on other's relationship when u are a failure at one.
4. Been through ARMY? Fck You Understand. Mr G and Mr C.

I am sunburnt. The fact that i haven't been dragonboating for the past 4 months, i was rather delighted i can get back my golden tan soon. Gordon told me today it's like a trial to the RC chairman before they will grant us the sponsorship thus i went with a all-out-combat mode.

I only know that today is not D- day when i reached Bedok Reservoir.
The Chairman was in the carpark awaiting out entrance.
My first impression was "that is nice!". The exact story was revealed to us when we started walking towards the boathouse where the equipments are stored. We are supposed to join into a hastely organised team that is comprised on grassroot leaders and residents from all ages and walks of life.

To be honest that i was abit of disappointed because the fighting spirit is always in my blood and for this occassion, everybody was here just for leisure purpose. Nonetheless, the training went quite smoothly except for some hiccups here and there. I was already expected to be whitewashed on the matchday itself. *Rofl*

Went to watched Mr Bean's Holiday with dearest. I guess the title give you in the insight to the whole content of the film. Lame antics never fail to make me giggle and the obvious ridiculous content too. The few parts of the movie that is worth the ticket price. Mr bean trying his best to raise funds but doing some strange dances according to the background music and definately the woman that they met on the way.
I didn't want to be a spoiler so the bean fans u can always pop by the cinema for a dose of lame shit.

Today, i met this ex-RSAF pilot who is a KC-135 Stratotanker aviator. He is the kind of humble down-to earth dood u can meet on the street anytime.
Althought he got the thoughts of transferring to SIA after his career in the Airforce, the 9 big papers before qualifying for as a commercial pilot and the constant distant away from home gave him second thoughts. In addition, he has a 6 year old son he need to cultivate to become the next pilot.

What he has emphasized to me is that, once someone get to the stage of finacial stability, money is secondary when family comes onto the table. He choses to stay in Singapore to work as a ground staff at Changi Airport instead the glamourous job as a SIA pilot. Maybe it is just me, if i can choose to end up as now, i don't mind being in his shoes. (*Hellyeah, who will mind).

I hate Mondays, can we don't have mondays in the week.
Can we have Tuedays to just Sundays.

*Poop, to those that haven't realise there is any changes to my blog interface, i have just added in a sitemeter to track the visits to my blog.
Maybe u can say i am in need of attention, but i am serious not. haa..
To those readers of my blog that are my friends, it wouldn't hurt to annouce your presence. Hopefuly, the next time i revisit my blog, there will be imprints of your "footsteps" behind.

"Suay" is the word to describe. 2 tyre punctures in 2 weeks. Some more both of the rear tyres, different sides somemore. What do u consider this as? Karma or just plain bad luck. Probably, i should start to tone down my anger on the road these days, maybe good luck will come back to me soon. (* Just can't yell, horn, "high-beam", tailgate shit drivers or drivers that can't be bother)

Oh ya, before i forget about it. I was mentioning to my pilot trainee colleagues about this matter. It has been disturbing most of guys these days. I guess i am just irritated at the constant attention or just the ignorance of most people. So i better do a short but clear elaboration here.
Firstly, pilots don't just fly the plane like most people just plug a key into the ignition and there we go. More has to be learnt and practised.

*Monday Blues again.
This is the same old monday at the same old Airforce School.
The day didn't start that smooth for me and my colleagues. The looks at most of the guys' faces convinced me that if we don't get motivated fast, soon we will lose the drive to get our wings.

Something i heard today after getting screwed up down left right.
"Before you can become a pilot, u must first be a soldier."
In my heart, i was thinking.
"Before i can become a pilot, i must first be a slave and take all the shit that is thrown right in our face".
Despite these difficulties of getting push off-track from my goal, it made me more determined to push all the way through.

Recently, i felt that my fitness is really at the lowest of my life. Exercising and sweating in the sun for a mere hour made me feel so uncomfortable like my lungs is going to explode. In 2 days time, i will be going to take my first IPPT after OCS but i don't feel too optimistic about it. Just a pass may seems so distanced to me now.

Humans are a bunch of complicated creatures right? Definately is my answer.
Our brain is so complexed that we can work out difficult sums in matter of seconds but simple instructions don't seem to be able to get through.
Let me elaborate on why am i saying this ?

"No one is allowed to plug their thumbdrives into any OA account in the camp premises."

Simple enough?

I don't think so.

Some bloody a**h*** just cannot get this simple instruction though his brain, he is just plain stupid or he just can't be bother.
It was until today i know the magnitude of the consqeueues if one decided to go the opposite direction. All the OA accounts in camp are down.
Officers can't get accessed to the planning, email etc. The whole camp technical side seems to come to a temporarily standstill.
Maybe the next time this a**h**** get into the spotlight, it might be something like "Wrong switch cost the F-16 pilot his life" or "Extreme manoverve causes One Super Puma mainframe to break, 5 onboard all dead".

If one can't understand simple instructions, i suggested our commanders can sent him back to nursery for some basic lessons.

This week been a very relax and enjoyable one. Being forced to take a week of block leave isn't that pleasing, considered that i have not planned for anything to happen in this week. Thinking though, this block leave will be a deserving rest after 3 months of on-going training, OCS & JST.

Time to complain, on the Friday of my block leave. I received a call from my fellow coursemate that i need to report very early to perform duties in camp. Maybe it was due to the little sleep the night before, i only realised that normal duties reoutine only starts from Noon to the next day Noon. So i messaged back to clarify the matter that why am i so special? The reason was due to the guy performing duty is on leave on Mon, oh well.

I did covered duties for other pals when they needed my help and there are other guys that haven't did their part yet. So i msg back to request that he changed the duty roster. The rest of the story can be covet by the below messages.

Me: "Do u mind change the duty to the other guys. Cos i believed i have done my share of extra?"
Guy A: "Just do lar, i already planned the roster" (Hey hey, don't f*** with me, i am the duty IC as well, just that i am on leave too)
Me: "Obviously, the guy on duty have to inform you he is on leave on mon. And somemore he is the guy from the other course." (Everybody gonna do their share of duty)
Guy A: "Aiya, how you want me to tell them. i give u Guy B number, he is the guy on duty on mon. you call and talk to him lo" (*send me business card)

At this moment, i was nearly busted with anger. This is freaking irresponsible man, he messed up the schedule and was lazy to change. Somemore he arrowed me back to tell the guy. I bombarded him with a msg which he only replied me with "nvm leh".

This is the one of the type of people i been with for the past few months. Sad but true that they are going to be the pillars of the society.

Missy got her braces on already. I can see that she is feeling uncomfortable thus i been taking care of her. We been exchanged promises with each other and to be truthfuly, it actually made me more settled to work towards for primary goal. She is started her new job in like 8 hours. Dear, i hope will have a great first day in work.

This time i don't have any pictures to upload. The reason is very simple.
I think this is a curse, my laptop came and my desktop crashed.

Today, Gordon was having a bad mood due to his quarrel with his gf thus he decided to go to ktv to "breathe some fresh air". The ktv itself is not the focus of the matter i gonna mention.
7 guys ordered 7 milk pearl tea. Astonishingly, after chewing on the first mouth of pearl, he felt that something hard was embedded between his molars. He spitted it out on the fruit plate and it was until close observation that there is a metal wire around 4cm tangled inside the pearls.

Shocked? But true. I can't help but to applaud at the ever deteriorating reputation of party world ktv. Well, it wasn't the first time already. The only thing they can do is to apologise and waived off part of the bill. I just feel that it is a "sorry-no-cure" matter as what if my friend swallowed the metal wire and it pierced through the internal organs?

I am not trying to discourage people to go to party world ktv. It is just to remind people that the impending danger of the service F&B line where employing incapable employees tend to be the trend.

Just changed my blog skin.
I was pretty attracted by this skin created by this guy.

Recently, life ain't been easy for my family.
My mum is sick. The cause is the Nose Cancer that plagued her like 12 years ago.
Just today or like 2 hours ago, she was admitted into SGH again due to persistant fever.
It just shows me that even one has alot of money but without a good health, one can't enjoy it.

Missy and i went to Gordon's competition at POWERHOUSE@St. James Powerhouse. In case you don't know what competition it is, it is the 2007 Cleo's Top 50 Eligible Bachelor Compy. The crowd of opposite sex are crazy at the hot bods of the 50 guys. Overall, i think the place is too small to host an event like this.

Anyway, i just got myself a laptop from oversea at this website call Milestonepc.com. It is an ASUS G1 Gaming laptop, this shall serves me from my days at AFS to my ground school till i finished my BWC (Hopefully complete it). Total damage close to SGD$3k. Heartpain. Still waiting for my end of month performance bonus to offset some cost.

1 day more to Regular-Revival Day.
Last Saturday, i returned from my Jungle Survival Training (JST) from Brunei. Personally, it was a very challenging trip for me. Thought JST itself is a shrink package from its big brother, Jungle Confidence Course (JCC), i guess it isn't much less prestige than JCC. Nothing went terribly wrong for me until the finale day.

After 3 days and 3 nights of survival without food and fresh water, we were reinserted to another terrain for a navigation back to Lakuin Camp. Under the sweltering heat of 34°c, with an heavy load and empty stomach, it was not surprising that I was struggling to finish this long march.

Maybe I got the premonition; my heart was skipping beats when we were at the halfway mark. Half-conscious, I told Mat that if I did make it back to camp, I will need the medic right at the gate. Shortly after knolls and knolls, I collapsed due to heat exhaustion. I was not sweating despite downing litres of water and my limbs were trembling. Thanks to my teammates for E & E, I managed to return back to base camp. Thanks Wanggie.

I was talking to my dear that night. She was commenting that i don't seems to have alot of good friends. Honestly, i feel that it has been a while since i have some one that i can see eye to eye. And i realised i didn't make any new year resolutions. So i wish to have better relations with others.

After the transfer to air wing, basically, i have another extra day during the weekend to get together with my loved ones. Althought with the extra day, time is never enough. I just wish that a day has 72hours. Can i have this belated birthday wish, i guess it isn't too much right? = )

The location i am posting this entry is directly from the I-net room in OCS Air wing.
Life been smooth sailing for these 5 weeks in OCS, the transition from the "xiong" Charlie Wing to Air Wing now has been a culture shock to me.
I guess that's the difference from being treat like an adult and a soldier. To me, it really trains one's integrity and independence than having someone breathing down your neck.
To those that really concern and read this blog, thanks for being so faithful.

It's been a week in Officer Cadet School(OCS) for my Officer Cadet Course. Common Leadership Term been relatively relax in terms of physical but rather strict on affairs like regimentation and discipline. I guess i wasn't on the right mindset right from the start i enter OCS, i couldn't really fit right into the tempo of an infantry trainee now. But i think it is not bothering me too much as it be a week more and i be transferring over to Air Wing for my AFST.

In another 12 hours, i be starting my Leadership Field Camp, i not really looking forward to it as the stuff we are going to embark on be similar to what i did in BSLC(Top Secret). Heck it, i am a Charlie Warrior, i am marching down the line.

Yesterday, i organised a small BBQ steamboat at my house. Actually, it was meant for my and dear. Since my mum decided to help in preparing the food, i invited Kuansheng, Elaine, DaKel and Xiang to enjoy this special christmas eve with us. Food was pretty delicious i guess cause most of them left with a big tummy.

After that we went to "Lao Di Fang", ECP to do a countdown. Unfortunately, we reached there well past 12 but it wasn't that bad. We did have a fruit wine and a log cake(Sponsored by Me).

One week has since passed from my last entry.
I can really say this is the fastest week but sweetest week that i ever go through. Although it is no mean feat to juggle work and afterwork timings, i really have no complaints about anything.

My life has transformed since then. I been living without any worries and concern about anything but my life perspective has changed 360°from that moment on. As most couples do, we do have a set of nickname for each other, Mr. & Missy. . To me, it is amazing having myself centred around another girl's life and getting connected to her.

I know she want to mention something about her and i will definately do it.

I didn't really pay much notice to this quote until recently.

A very special one came into my life. My lonely Australia training days were brightened by her daily messages. I feel that my previous failures were just to wait for her appearance.

Previously, i felt that i am the only one doing the pushing and putting in the efforts. I am really tired and disheartened after a while. Slowly, i just backed off and accepted that it's either i am that bad or she's just not interested. This makes me lose abit of my self-esteem.

She actually let me feel that i am important.
My every SMSs to her will yield an enthusiastic reply from her.
My every comments about anything, she will remember it.
Althought i knew that she did not like soccer let alone watching soccer matches, she will still agree to accompany me to the cafe and stick there the whole session.
Although sometimes i can feel that she is not really enjoying herself in my regular khakis' chilling session, she will still tagged along and never complained even if it lasted through the night.
Whenever i am bored at AFS, miraculously she can senses that and inject me with a dose of vigour.

No one is perfect either i am. I so flawed in every department.
But yet, she managed to turn all my flaws into my strengths. That's how wonderful about her. Once i decided to close up my heart and not let it open to get hurt again. Her timely entrance into my life makes me feel that i shouldn't miss out this wonderful one.

Whether if you are reading this at this moment and this point of the time, i just want to let you know that i care and i cherish every moment i spend with you. My life was like a black and white TV but u added colours in me.

I guess my friends have been seeing too much of me that they actually ask me, "Why are u here? ". Being a trainee awaiting entry to OCS (18th Dec) give me the freedom to actually purse the things that i wished to do and accomplished which time does not permit me to in the past. I wanna learn Salsa dance and can someone be my partner (Please don't laugh).

Recently, i been surfing alot of eating critics websites and the big discovery is that i been missing out on alot of unique and nice places to dine it. After reading on fellow-forumers commenting on this western food house, i decided to give it a try. Sunset Grill and Pub is the name of the shop.

The address pointed right into Seletar Camp & Airbase and i predicted i be in for a tough ride. The road in was unbelievable dark even with full headlights shining ahead and Mrs Blessed One was freaking out after seeing the abandoned buildings which looks like Old Changi Hospital. 15minutes passed before we found the site.The atmosphere and ambience is pretty good at this beachhouse-like shop. We have the famous buffalo wings, Beef Bolognese and some mixed-grill. Overall, i found the place to be slightly expensive but food is decent.

Haven't seen so many breakups recently, i guess i am feeling abit less enthusiastic getting into a relationship.

I was at OLD BAR with a few close friends for a regular clubbing session yesterday night. Guess what one of my friend brought his friend along. The last time i saw her, she was still attached and all was good. Yesterday, she looked like a lost soul, just like the world as just fall apart for her.

I can see that she's heartbroken from the way she downed all the beers and shots. Not surprisely, she was wasted just 15minutes past midnight. She was literally falling over the tall chair and when she wanted to dance, she was tumbling over her six-inches heels. By the next moment, she was gone and ferried home by another friend.

This is what LOVE can do to one.

I not sure if she could get over with it, but just be strong and it be over. If she did read this, i hope it will be over for her by now.

Flew 4 sorties, results for each sortie getting worse and worse.
I think i have to get my act up or soon i am out of here.
Finally got a chance to blog after nearly 2 weeks here as the internet room is always full of people waiting to use.
U might think it's quite cooling here but the temperature here can easily rise from like 8 degree in the morning to 29 degree in the afternoon. Quite jialatt for us when we are donning the flight suits.

25th of August marks another end of my course in NS.

Well, the end of a challenge is the beginning of another.
Am i ready for the new hurdle ahead? I am very "passively" confident about it.
Finishing the 28km road march and soon we marched proudly but drained into the Chevron Parade Square ( The place where many heros were borned), and we are its new "babies" now.

Been in AFS (*Air Force School) for 2 days, my impression of it is pretty good as i guess it is utterly different from Army. Went throught the checklist and found that some stuffs need to be done before i can fly to tamworth.Things like drawing of flight suit and taking the blood test etc.Thought it has only been 2 days, i have know another 12 new friends who will be my coursemates for AGC 10/06. AGC 10/06 Strive on man, we can achieved the impossible 100% course pass rate.

Kiew, 9th week into BSLC, Morale low but this letter served as a timely booster to me to finish my BSLC which will be ending in a week time.
Guess what, actually i was selected to go for the IRS (Infantry Recce Scout) after BSLC. It was basically about learning how to drive the army jeep which is a open-air rover and finishing the Recce Scout Course (This will last around 5 months). After that, i will pass out to become a Recce Scout Commander where my team will comprise of 2 commanders and 2 man. Pretty interesting as it's quite different from the generic infantry ASLC.
Well, my future is now at AFS. I will do my best and grab this chance.
